Part One of Achieving Balance explains the constituent elements of Balance
Balance involves understanding perspective
Balance is a big subject but it doesn’t have to be complicated, although it is often made out to be unduly complex.
For many years I have had a passion for balance, an interest to find answers to the question ‘ How do I achieve balance and fulfillment in my life’. This quest has involved reading literally hundreds of books and contemplating several of the philosophical questions that pop up along the way.
My experience is that sometimes one has to read books the size of an encyclopedia to find that nugget of information, the next piece of the jigsaw that you have been searching for.
But it doesn’t have to be that way.
One day it occurred to me that any idea can be expressed as a Page, a Paragraph and a Picture. This is the core essence of any idea or concept. The core essence of a 350page book can be explained in a single page.Eureka!
And so, Achieving Balance was born.
A book designed to explain often difficult concepts in a way that is accessible and digestible to the reader whilst giving them an understanding of the main concepts of balance.
There are 28 sections to Part One that include: Change and Uncertainty, The Love Triangle, The Ocean and the Drop, The Engine Driver and the Passenger, The Holistic Jigsaw, The House of smoke and mirrors and What is Reality?
The first half of the book is designed to give a ‘Top Table’ guide to the main concepts and aspects of balance.
